Returns

Our policy lasts 100 days. If 100 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging (unopened). You can determine if an item is suitable for return by following a simple common sense rule: if the item is in the condition you would like a new item you’ve purchased to be, then it is acceptable as a return. Remember that we have to re-stock this item so another customer can purchase it.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Used or opened items cannot be returned.
Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please contact us for a return merchandise request. If you send us a message via our Contact Us page, it should include:

  • Your full name
  • A valid email address
  • Your shipping address and telephone number
  • Your order number
  • A description of the item(s) returned

There are certain situations where no refunds or only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item with obvious signs of use. No refund will be granted, in this case.
  • Any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. A partial refund may be granted, in this case.
  • Any item that is returned more than 100 days after delivery. No refund will be granted, in this case.
  • Any other situation in which the returned item is not new and un-opened

Refunds:

Once your return is received and inspected, we may send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We may also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within ten business days.

Exchanges (if applicable):

We do not offer exchanges for returned products.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customerservice@theversedchef.ca.

NOTE: This Returns Policy is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Use and does not set out all of the terms and conditions that may be applicable to your transaction (see full Terms of Use in this regard). In the event of a conflict between this Returns Policy and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use shall take precedence to the extent of the conflict. 

Late or missing refunds:

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at customerservice@theversedchef.ca

Shipping:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
